Does the thought of homeschool, virtual school, or schools closing up again feel overwhelming? 

You are not alone! 

But, let’s not lose our cool just yet.  No matter what your setup is for school this fall, there are so many amazing resources and people out there who want to help. 

Remember, this is hard for everyone, and YOU are an incredible teacher to your child.  No matter how nervous you are, you've got this! 

Here are 13 of my favorite IG accounts that can help you out during this unique back to school year:

Do not get discouraged by seeing people on Instagram pages with beautiful looking homeschool classrooms and their kids sitting quietly working.

They probably just shoved a load of laundry into the corner out of shot and bribed their kids to get the perfect image.  We ALL have our moments.


@letsplayschool

@letsplayschool has so many great resources for preschool to early elementary-aged children.  Chelsea makes learning fun through play.  She has an incredible homeschool curriculum of activities that kids will love.  She offers subscriptions you can print each month or have shipped to you.


@mrsblinks

@mrsblinks is a Homeschool Mom who created this awesome Homeschool Beginners Guide. Diana helps guide you through the whole Homeschool Process. It includes checklists, journal pages, scheduling print outs, resources for curriculum and SO much more.  


@LearningResources

@Learningresources is a company that makes incredible educational toys your children will love playing with, *and* not even realize they are learning too!  Their website also has tons of FREE activities and printables for kids of all ages.



@JamWithJamie

@jamwithjamie offers music classes and now has a homeschool program featuring music, education and movement.  Your kids will LOVE jamming with Jamie and will be singing their songs all day long!


@ActiveLittles

@activelittles has so many great resources for your little ones. Tam is always coming up with new activities to keep your kids busy and entertained with hands-on learning activities and your kids will love all her busy books.


@PlayOsmo

@playosmo has interactive learning games for your Ipad or Amazon Fire Tablet.  The games teach your kids letters, shapes, drawing, coding, and math.  They have programs for kids ages 4-12, so you will definitely get many uses of it as your children grow.  


@LittleDove.Justine

@littledove.justine is a Homeschool Mom to her 6 children, so she has experience homeschooling many grades. Justine has so many helpful homeschool tips, plus lots of free resources, hacks, and stem activities that your kids will enjoy. 



@Happily.Ever.Elephants

@happily.ever.elephants will help you discover the best books for your child's level. If you ever find yourself confused about how to discuss a challenging issue with your child, Lauren will find you the perfect book to make the dialogue easier.  She just launched Parade Family Book Club, which guides you in conversations and activities about the books. 


@ABCDeeLearning

@abcdeelearning has so many great FREE activities and printables for your kids.  Deena was a PE teacher, so she does an amazing job incorporating physical activity into her lessons as well.

@chickieandroo is another awesome Mom who has been Homeschooling her kids and shares all her amazing activities along the way.  Lauren recently launched her own magazine all about Homeschooling and she creates the most beautiful lessons on Nature.


@HomeschoolRoomies

@Homeschoolroomies is a social network that will help you connect and meet other parents who are homeschooling.  It is a FREE network where you can swap ideas and learn from one another.  


@AngelaTeachingMama

@angelateachingmama is a Homeschool Mom who has created her own Home Preschool curriculum.  It is a complete guide to teaching preschool at home.  Angela covers all components of preschool, and helps get your kid ready for Kindergarten.  


@KickstartReading

@KickstartReading produces 2-minute videos that teach your child how to read.  There are FREE printables to go along with the videos.  There is also a NEW Activity Pack for kids ages 4-7, with all the materials sent right to your house. It includes games, hands-on activities, and virtual lessons to go with the pack. It's screen time you can feel GOOD about. 


You do not have to spend a fortune on learning at home.  Many of these companies have FREE resources for your kids.  

Remember, we are all in this together.   This is NOT a competition.  We are here to help and support you and make this transition easier for each other.
